LawnBooster

LawnBooster is a chicken manure lawn feed, supplied in a 30kg woven bag. One bag covers about 20m²-25m².

We use it on every lawn we install — it's not an optional extra on installations. It's also sold on its own if you're feeding an existing lawn rather than putting in a new one.

What it does

Chicken manure is high in nitrogen, along with phosphorus and potassium, so it feeds the grass rather than just sitting on top of it. It also adds organic matter to the soil, which helps with water retention and aeration over time. This is raw manure, not composted — so the nitrogen releases faster and less evenly than a processed product would so give a lot of water. That's why it needs to go down thin and even rather than in piles (see below), but it also means the lawn sees the benefit sooner.

How to use it

This is raw chicken manure, not composted. Two things that means for use: keep it off thick, don't dump it in piles (raw manure releases nitrogen fast and can burn the grass if it's too concentrated in one spot) so give a lot of water.
